Jenerik Soulz Rocks The Boat For HIV/AIDS
dance4life and Fair Play for Africa Campaign ambassadors, Jenerik Soulz, have been invited to perform at The VSO-RAISA event on the seafaring Randstad Clipper, in celebration of the work VSO and its partners have done in the area of HIV and AIDS. The event, which takes place on Thursday 29th April 2010 in Cape Town, not only promises to be both inspiring and informative, but also a great networking opportunity as well-known speakers share their thoughts on the changes taking place in the approaches to HIV and AIDS. Parliamentarians from the SADC region will be amongst the prominent guests at the event. The event will also incorporate a showcase from both dance4life and the Fair Play for Africa Campaign. The boat will be docked at the V & A waterfront and will, unfortunately, not be accessible to the public.

VSO is the world’s leading independent, international development charity that works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries.
RAISA (the Regional AIDS Initiative of Southern Africa) is a VSO initiative seeking to strengthen the response to the HIV and AIDS pandemic in southern Africa. Operating in six countries in the region, it brings together government departments, local and international AIDS organisations, and donors to ensure better provision of prevention, treatment, care and support for people affected by HIV and AIDS, helping to manage the personal, social and economic impact of the pandemic.
Fair Play for Africa is a pan African campaign that aims to use the platform of 2010 FIFA World Cup to ensure equitable access to quality health services for African citizens especially women, children, and people living with HIV and AIDS using civil society organisations from across the African continent. In support of the campaign, Jenerik Soulz produced and wrote a pumping, energetic and positive theme song titled Leaders of the World (The Whistle Song). Click here to download the song.
